"A boundary is where you end and I begin." Louise Hay
We cannot rest if our emotional doors are always open. We cannot recharge if we don't have a line that we can retreat behind and rest.
We all need boundaries. Boundaries give us space to breathe and heal. They don't have to be high walls with barbed wire on top and a dog at the gate. They can be softly drawn lines that create an area where we can practice self-respect and self-care.
Boundaries can give you space and time, without which it becomes very hard to manage anxiety.
Think about your boundaries today and take five minutes to reflect on how they serve you and if they might be due for a review.
