Michelle Chalfant has a practice in Nashville, TN, where she helps people relieve their emotional pain, such as anxiety, depression, codependency and relationship issues. She created and teaches a transformational process called The Adult Chair that helps people uncover and correct limiting beliefs and false stories that keep them stuck. Her podcast The Adult Chair, now on its third year on air, has been an avenue to share this message through interviews and conversations around stress, anxiety, depression, codependency, self-love, getting unstuck, removing masks, emotional balance, and how our understanding of ourselves impacts the most important relationships in our lives.

How to process negative emotions
Michelle defines Anxiety as a physical manifestation of unfelt emotions
- What emotions do you need to process?
- Are you Living Chin up (in your head) or Chin down (From your heart)?
Chin up = Stuck in the mind Chin down = Ability to Process emotions
- Tune into your body with Somatic body work. What do you notice happening in your body?
- Slow down.
- Get back into your body by practicing Yoga.
